Trent’anni di carriera di Nick Cave con i Bad Seeds raccolti in ‘Lovely Creatures’

Trent’anni di attività di Nick Cave e di collaborazione con i Bad Seeds diventano adesso un cofanetto deluxe, dal titolo ‘Lovely Creatures’. In realtà la pubblicazione sarebbe dovuta avvenire prima di ‘The Skeleton Tree’, ma la morte del figlio di Nick Cave ha, ovviamente, cambiato le priorità nella vita dell’artista, che ha sentito l’urgenza di mettere in musica il proprio dolore, facendo passare in secondo piano questo lavoro ‘antologico’.
Qua, però, sono raccolti veramente trent’anni di musica – dal 1984 al 2014 -, a partire dal debutto con ‘From Her to Eternity’ fino all’ultimo lavoro ‘Push the Sky Away’. Un progetto che ha visto impegnato in prima persona lo stesso Nick Cave, coadiuvato nella selezione e realizzazione del cofanetto da Mick Harvey, uno dei membri fondatori dei Bad Seeds e, naturalmente, dagli attuali ‘semi cattivi’.
La pubblicazione, come spesso accade in queste occasioni, non è esclusivamente musicale, ma vi sono anche delle foto inedite, che sono state raccolte in un libro, nel quale sono raccolti anche alcuni saggi molto interessanti.
In tutto sono quattro i formati in cui è disponibile questa pubblicazione: standard cd, triplo cd, Deluxe edition con dvd e la versione in tiratura limitata Superdeluxe Edition. In ogni edizione sono comprese delle foto personali e rare della band.
