Questo è il – semplice e complicato assieme – plot del nuovo video di Beck, ‘Up All Night’, che anticipa di alcune settimane l’uscita del nuovo album ‘Colors’ e che è stato diretto dal collettivo londinese Canada.
Beck non compare mai in questi video, ma la protagonista è l’attrice francese Solene Rigot che va alla ricerca del suo amore perduto, interpretato da Pedro Attenborough, che nelle primissime scene vediamo crollare su un tavolo da biliardo.
Non c’è niente che la fermi in questa sua missione di salvataggio, che la porta ad attraversare party dove l’umanità festeggiante non si pone davvero limiti. E ne viene fuori una sorta di ‘viaggio all’inferno’ di una guerriera in scintillante armatura, che alla fine vince la sua personale battaglia.
‘Colors’, il nuovo album di Beck, uscirà a metà ottobre ed è il seguito del vincitore del Grammy nel 2015, ‘Morning Phase’.
