DJ Shadow pubblica un nuovo doppio album intitolato ‘Our Pathetic Age’, in uscita il 15 novembre per Mass Appeal/Caroline International, distribuzione Universal. Our Pathetic Age è il risultato di un periodo molto creativo per DJ Shadow, che ha avuto la possibilità di dedicarsi a composizioni originali e sperimentazioni.
La prima parte di ‘Our Pathetic Age’ contiene 11 nuove tracce strumentali che bilanciano con atmosfere più morbide (c’è anche un brano composto interamente con un’orchestra), il sound più cupo di DJ Shadow.
La seconda metà di ‘Our Pathetic Age’ è caratterizzata dalla presenza di ospiti alla voce: Run The Jewels, Nas, Dave East, Samuel T. Herring, Paul Banks, Wiki, Inspectah Deck, Ghostface Killah e Raekwon. Shadowsi riunisce qui con i suoi vecchi collaboratori della Solesides, Lateef The Truthseeker e Gift of Gab (Blackalicious). Sono inoltre presentiSt. Louis MCs Rockwell Knuckles, Tef Poe, Fantastic Negrito, Jumbo is Dramae Brooklyn MC Stro.
