‘Anthems for Doomed Youth’ è il terzo album in studio della band inglese The Libertines, che è caratterizzata da un suono tipicamente garage rock.
L’album contiene due riferimenti letterari di notevole spessore: le canzoni ‘Anthem for Doomed Youth e ‘Gunga Din’, infatti, fanno riferimento ad opere di Wilfred Owen e Rudyard Kipling.
‘Anthems for Doomed Youth’ è disponibile sia in cd che in vinile ed esiste anche un’edizione deluxe che include alcune tracce extra. I Libertines hanno inoltre realizzato anche un box set che contiene il cd deluxe, la copia in vinile, un video esclusivo e una stampa artistica autografata.
