Il manifesto della cosiddetta “No Wave” tanto epocale quanto difficile se non (per alcuni) inaccessibile. I quattro gruppi newyorkesi prodotti dal mago Brian Eno, scardinano e oltraggiano ogni parvenza di melodia, proponendo un vero e proprio attacco terroristico fatto di rumore, attitudine free, deliri schizofrenici, suoni  mutuati dalle avanguardie  e urla sinistre, che salgono in superficie dalle viscere di una metropoli che si fa carne e sangue e umori infetti. Un manifesto convulso, anarchico che come un morbo mira all’attacco delle nostre cellule nervose, elevazione del rumore come forma d’arte come solo i primi Velvet Underground erano riusciti a sublimare. Disco killer e seminale come pochi altri. Capolavoro.
